Bald Hills Wind Farm Pty Ltd engaged Brett Lane & Associates Pty Ltd (BL&A) to carry out the operational phase bat, avifauna and mortality monitoring surveys outlined in the Bat and Avifauna Management Plan (BAM Plan) for the Bald Hills Wind Farm to record, assess and report on the impact of the wind farm operation on birds and bats.
BL&A have prepared a detailed report covering the first year of operation and this report is currently being reviewed by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and the Minister for Planning.
